Perpetua Products Featured at Innovation Exposition

Perpetua thermoelectric energy harvesters were recently demonstrated at the Exelon Innovation Exposition held in Washington DC.

The exposition, which included key Exelon operating companies and personnel, showcased Perpetua energy harvesters and demonstrated Perpetua products powering wireless instrumentation.

Many of Exelon’s generating facilities utilize extensive networks of steam pipes which provide widespread heat sources ideal for Perpetua’s Power Puck® and Power Tile® thermoelectric energy harvesters. By using the energy harvesters to produce power for Exelon’s process instrumentation, the company can reduce or eliminate battery replacements for wireless instrumentation, decrease installation time and reduce the overall costs of wired devices.
