Perpetua offers Power Puck energy harvesting solutions for Emerson AMS 9420 Transmitters and Emerson Rosemount 848 Transmitters using an external Power Management Unit (PMU). These Ordinary Location (non-hazardous) configurations address start-up and peak power requirements of the AMS 9420 transmitter and overcome a physical fit limitation of the IPM in the Rosemount 848 transmitter.

Power Puck energy harvesting solutions can reduce or eliminate the need for battery replacements with a variety of devices by converting heat differences from common industrial sources into usable electricity. The solution has a wide input voltage range, 2.4 – 25 VDC, and factory configurable output voltage of 3.6, 7.2, or 12 V DC.
